Navigation has partnered with a leading managed services provider in search for an experienced Infrastructure Technical Architect to join their client facing Consulting team.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth level of knowledge across several technologies such as Java, Unix / Linux OS, virtualisation, systems infrastructure, networking, security, storage and the web.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:-

·         Hands on Architectural design, build and configuration.

·         Leading technical teams to achieve successful project delivery.

·         Business Proof-of-Concept and prototyping / piloting.

·         authoring and estimating proposals.

·         Transitioning new client solutions into managed service.

·         Consultancy in pre-sales engagements, proposing solutions to clients.

·         Leading the analysis, design and implementation of changes to the technical architecture.

·         Troubleshooting challenges when they occur in a client environment or system, providing expertise on the ground.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-

• 10+ years experience in designing, building and supporting a variety of commercial, complex, enterprise systems.
• Substantial client facing and team management experience.
• Deep technical skills across several enterprise technologies.
• Have worked closely with senior professionals on requirements analysis and solution proposition.
• Strategic platform architecture experience.
• Delivered several reasonably large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Produced multiple proposals for large and highly complex high value bids.
• Worked on a substantial number of large and complex pre-sales and commercial bids.
• Managed customer engagements, both technical and commercial issues, in changeable environments.
• Ability to rapidly translate business requirements into best fit technical solutions and articulate these clearly at the most strategic levels.
• Ability to write technical documents and to elaborate multi-vendor architectures.
